Class 14 enjoyed a trip to Shrewsbury Museum and Art Gallery. The children were so sensible walking through Shrewsbury and enjoyed looking at the different shops as we made our way to the museum.
We started in the Roman Room where children enjoyed looking at artefacts including mosaics, jewellery and arrowheads.
A big thank you to the staff at The Cats Pyjamas for letting us use their outside seating to eat our dinner. Some of the children even got to enjoy a hot chocolate while we were there!
In the afternoon we made our way upstairs in the Museum to look at the collections dating from Prehistory, the Iron Age and the Bronze Age. The children had a great time using quills to practice writing their names, looking at the archaeological findings the Museum had on display and admiring the ceramics found in Shropshire.
All the adults were so proud of the children in Class 14 and members of the public even commented on their beautiful listening and manners!
