Classes 3, 5, 9 & 11 had a fantastic time at Apley Woods. Children explored the woods looking for mini beasts and woodland creatures. They identified different textures and sounds of the woods and spotted squirrels and rabbits and lots of different birds.
Children had a woodland animal treasure hunt and enjoyed hot chocolate, biscuits, and picnics outside. They used 'I Spy' visuals to find different plants and found evidence of animals homes in the trees and under the ground.
The weather was lovely and everyone had a great time!
