Class 6 had a fantastic day out at The British Ironwork Centre in Oswestry.
Everyone had a brilliant time exploring the sculpture park and discovering how many of the sculptures are made from recycled materials. It was a great opportunity for them to see how everyday objects can be transformed into creative pieces of art.
Children showed great curiosity as they walked around the park, spotting different sculptures and discussing how they might have been made. The visit linked perfectly with our current topic work on The Iron Man, helping the children imagine how large metal structures can be created and how materials can be reused in interesting ways.
All the children were enthusiastic, well-behaved and represented Haughton school wonderfully.
Well done everyone!
