BOTANICAL GARDENS TRIPS - UKS2

During their visits, children enjoyed learning all about the rainforest.  We talked about what you would find there and what materials we use that are produced in the rainforest.

Children had fun pretending to use darts to hunt food and they handled instruments which would have been made/played in tribes.

Everyone had the opportunity to handle some rainforest creatures including a snake, a cockroach and a large snail!

We looked at trees, plants and flowers and saw some miniature bananas growing!  Children smelt coffee and cocoa beans too.

The children really enjoyed their day outs - they were all absolute superstars!

Well done everyone!
