Apley Woods Visits - Upper Key Stage 2

Children in Classes 10, 11, 13 & 14 enjoyed their visits to Apley Woods this week.

The visits were an entry point to their new topic 'Land, Sea & Sky'.

Children explored the three different habitats - woodland, grassland and water.  Everyone enjoyed looking and listening closely to nature and the children spotted lots of woodland creatures, including squirrels, snails, ducks robins and blackbirds.

Children took photographs of all the different things they found in the habitats and learned about how creatures and plants live and survive.

All the children were brilliant - well done everyone!
