NSPCC Talk Pants Programme / Filming by The Makaton Charity

At Haughton School, we participate in the Talk PANTS NSPCC programme.  With the help of a colourful animated dinosaur, called Pantosaurus, it helps children understand that their body belongs to them, that they have a right to say no and they should tell a safe adult they trust if anything makes them feel upset or worried.

We were proud to be chosen to take part in a mini film by The Makaton Charity.  Children (with consent) were filmed in school signing ‘Angel’.  The footage is going to be be used as part of Makaton’s annual Christmas advent calendar.

Pantasaurus joined us in school for the filming - it was a lot of fun!  We think it’s fantastic that Pantosaurus is helping to share the PANTS message to children in school.

Well done to all the children who took part - you were brilliant!
