We had a wonderful day celebrating the Coronation of King Charles III.
Children made crowns, flags, bunting and artwork to mark the special occasion.
The celebration opened with children parading around to show off their fabulous crowns.
Our very own King Charles (Charlie) was crowned on his special throne. Well done Charlie - you were a brilliant King!
Children, families and staff had lots of fun playing the outdoor games.
We all enjoyed a picnic lunch together in the sunshine. A big thank you to the school kitchen for putting on a special buffet lunch.
Children were fantastic singing and signing The National Anthem – God Save the King.
At the end of the day, all children were presented with a special medal to commemorate the King’s Coronation and as a keepsake from our wonderful celebration party.
We’d like to thank all our children, families and staff for such a happy and memorable day!
