To celebrate and give our thanks for the harvest, we held three special Harvest Celebration Assemblies:

Badgers and Key Stage 1 children learnt a new song called ‘Big Red Combine Harvester’ and each class brought a different vegetable to put on the harvest table.

Children in Lower Key Stage 2 sang the Harvest Samba and guessed which food each class had brought to the harvest table.

Upper Key Stage 2 children sang a song where each class chose a different food that they were thankful for and we danced to ‘Autumn Harvest’ music.

At the end of each celebration, we said a big thank you to everyone for all the food they have brought into school for our harvest table. Mrs Knox and Mrs McCormack are looking forward to taking it to Telford Crisis support Food so that it can be given to local people who need it.

Our student council would like to thank all our children, parents and families for their generous donations to the Telford Food Bank.
