Armistice Day - 11 November

Children, staff and visitors observed the two-minute silence at 11.00am.

The two-minute silence is a time for reflection and to show respect and gratitude to the armed forces past and present who have lost their lives fighting for their country.

Children have been finding out about Remembrance Day. They have been learning about why Remembrance Day is important and why it is commemorated. Children produced some lovely art work, copied some poems and some of them wrote their own verses - we were touched with their lovely, thoughtful words.

Each child made an individual poppy in school.

Here are some photographs of our beautiful displays.

Well done everyone.
