How we support extra curricular and extension activities

School Based

Throughout the academic year our school endeavours to run at least 2 after-school clubs for our children to attend.

One of these clubs is run by Telford & Wrekin Council I Can 2 (Access 2 Activities) team.  This is currently held every Monday during term-time from 3.15-4.15pm.

A second club is organised by our school with the support of external professionals. This club tends to be linked to performing arts and is currently a dance club.  This is currently held every Wednesday during term-time from 3.15-4.15pm.

We are in the process of arranging for either an ICT or Food Technology after-school club to be held on a Thursday from 3.15 – 4.15pm during the second half of the Summer Term.

Other Activities

We offer information to parents on clubs and activities available to them, via newsletters and flyers.

Local information can also be found via Telford & Wrekin Council “Local offer” on

Residential Trips

During the Summer Term the school offers all Upper KS2 children the opportunity to participate in a residential experience ranging from 3 days to 1 week.  The location of the residential trips is based on the needs of the children attending and this year we are going to the Pioneer Centre (Worcestershire) and to Glan Dwr Mountain Lodge (Wales).
