All of our children undertake base-line assessments upon entry to our school. These cover areas of Literacy, Numeracy and Personal Development.
We work with professionals (Speech & Language, Physiotherapy, and Occupational Therapy) to identify any specific area of need where their intervention is required.
Referral is made to CAMHS (LD) or Educational Psychology Services when internal monitoring identifies the need for more specialised strategy/intervention/guidance.
Throughout the children’s time with us their progress is monitored on an ongoing basis via their educational target booklets and the use of data assessment software (I-Track).
Children’s progress is discussed with parents both formally and informally via home-school books (where required), parent consultation evenings and Annual Reviews of their Statement of Special Educational Need or Education Health Care Plan.
